I've been working at the local diner for about 6 months now. My boss is always on my case about something or other, but I manage to put up with it because the tips are good and I like being around the regulars.
It's not all sunshine and rainbows though - I have a bit of a complicated home life, to say the least. My mum and stepdad never really got along when I was growing up, and now they're divorced and my dad has moved in with his new family. It's weird, but at least we don't fight all the time anymore.
When I'm not working or dealing with family drama, you can usually find me at the mall with my friends shopping or eating at the food court. We always have a good laugh and it takes my mind off things for a bit.
