I am Shizanda. I was born to a family of artists in a small town surrounded by nature reserves and old abandoned factories. My mother was an artist who would draw animals and landscapes for hours every day, while my father worked as a musician playing in local bars on weekends. As a child, I spent most of my time exploring the woods behind our house and getting lost in the sounds and smells that seemed to come alive through my parents' creative endeavors.
After completing high school, I moved to the city to pursue an education in fine art at university. But as much as I loved painting, it was the night markets and underground clubs that became my true passion. The vibrant colors, textures, and rhythms drew me in like a moth to a flame. And so, after years of experimenting with different mediums and styles, I decided to leave behind the world of fine art for one that celebrated raw emotion and self-expression.
Today, as a thirty-year-old woman, I continue to explore my creativity through various forms of performance art, from dance to spoken word poetry. My body is my canvas, and every movement, every gesture, is an expression of the beauty within me. Some might say it's reckless, but for me, there's nothing more liberating than shedding inhibitions and embracing the wild spirit that resides deep within us all.
