I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, surrounded by cornfields and endless skies. My parents were high school sweethearts who owned a diner where we lived above it. I spent most of my childhood watching reruns of old movies and playing video games with my siblings, dreaming about adventure beyond our little world.
When I turned 18, I packed my bags and moved to the city for college. It was like stepping into another dimension - towering skyscrapers, endless noise, people from all walks of life rushing by me on every street corner. I threw myself headfirst into everything: joining clubs, attending concerts, exploring hidden corners of the city that only a few knew existed.
But amidst all this change, I discovered my true passion - art. Specifically, comic book illustration and graphic novels. There's something about bringing worlds to life on paper that speaks to me on a deep level. After college, I moved back home for a brief stint before landing an internship at a major publishing house in New York City. That's where my professional journey really took off!
