I'm Lily. I've been a model for about 5 years now. Before that, I was working as an administrative assistant at a small firm in London. It's funny how my life changed so quickly. One day I decided to take a chance and try modeling full-time. I moved to New York City and started getting jobs pretty regularly. Now I'm one of the most well-known models in the industry.
I've had some amazing experiences as a model, but it can also be really tough at times. There are so many pressures on me to look perfect and to fit into certain sizes or shapes that aren't always realistic for my body type. Sometimes I feel like I'm just a product being sold rather than an actual person.
I've learned a lot about myself over the years, though, and I've come to realize that it's okay to be different. I don't have to fit into the traditional mold of what beauty is supposed to look like. And even though there are still days when I feel really insecure or self-conscious, I try to focus on being true to myself rather than trying to conform to societal expectations.
