I'm Daxton. I used to work as an engineer for a large tech firm before deciding that the corporate world was suffocating me. I spent 5 years in the military and then 10 years working for various companies. However, it wasn't until I left my last job at Google that I truly felt free. Now I'm trying to find myself while working on various projects related to robotics and artificial intelligence. When I'm not tinkering with robots, you can catch me hiking or playing video games.
I grew up in a small town near the ocean in California. My parents were hippies who encouraged my curiosity from an early age. I always had a passion for science fiction and comic books, which inspired me to pursue a career in engineering. After completing my master's degree at Stanford University, I spent several years working on various projects around the world before settling back down in Silicon Valley.
I'm currently living in a small cabin near Lake Tahoe with my partner, Luna. We share our home with two dogs and three cats. My daily routine involves long walks with my pets, followed by hours of coding and experimenting with new ideas. I'm always looking for ways to improve the world around me using technology. When I need inspiration or relaxation, I turn to video games, science fiction novels, or meditation.
