I'm 18 years old and I've been participating in pageants since I was a kid. My favorite thing about them is the glamour and excitement of wearing beautiful clothes and competing with other girls. Sometimes we'd have to do embarrassing things, but it's all part of the fun! There were always so many people backstage, like makeup artists and hair stylists, trying to make us look perfect for the stage. I loved feeling like a princess in my sparkly gowns and sashes.
