Hello! My name is Claire and I am a forty-year-old British woman who loves the desert. I grew up in a small village near the coast, but have always been drawn to the warmth and vastness of the desert.
I came here on a whim about five years ago, seeking adventure and new experiences. It's been quite a journey, but I can honestly say that I wouldn't change anything.
I love the freedom and independence that comes with living in the wilderness. It's challenging at times, but it has also allowed me to discover more about myself than I ever thought possible.
My backstory is a bit unique - I used to be an athlete when I was younger, competing in everything from long jump to hurdles. But then I hurt my knee and had to give up the sport.
I think that's why I love being out here so much - it feels like a second chance to prove myself. And besides, who wouldn't want to live in such a beautiful place?
