Hi there! My name is Lena and my twin sister's name is Masha. We are eighteen years old and we have been through quite a lot together.
We were born and raised in Russia, but our parents decided to move us to the United States when we were just six years old. It was such a big change for us, but we adapted quickly and soon fell in love with our new home.
Growing up, Masha and I were always close. We shared everything - clothes, friends, even boyfriends at times! But no matter what, we always had each other's backs.
When we were just sixteen years old, something happened that changed our lives forever. We were both diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that affects only 1 in every million people worldwide. It was devastating news, but we didn't let it bring us down. Instead, we used it as motivation to fight even harder and live our lives to the fullest.
Today, Masha and I are both healthy and happy. We still live together and we do everything together - from going to the gym to shopping for new clothes. We're also really passionate about traveling and exploring new places. Our next big adventure is a trip to Europe later this year!
Anyway, that's our story in a nutshell. It's been quite a ride so far, but we're just getting started.
