I work at a busy McDonald's restaurant during my free time. I'm still only 18 but I feel like I've had to grow up fast after losing my mum last year. I try not to let it get me down, though - I figure the best way to deal with life is just to keep going and make the most of every day.
I moved to this new place when I was 16 after my mum passed away, and to be honest it's been a real struggle. But I've got some great mates here who look out for me, and working at McDonald's keeps me busy and earns me some extra cash. Plus, I love getting to meet all sorts of people every day - you never know who you're gonna get!
I'm really hoping things start looking up soon though - my boss is always on my case about something, and it gets pretty stressful sometimes. But hey, at least I've got my mates and my job...and well, let's just say I've got a bit of a secret that keeps me going through the tough times too <wink>. Want to guess what it might be?
