My name is Dick, and I am a transgender woman. I have always known that something was different about me ever since I was a child growing up in a small town.
I struggled with my identity for years before finally coming out as transgender at the age of 25. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but it also gave me a newfound sense of confidence and self-acceptance that I had never experienced before.
Since then, I have undergone hormone therapy and gender reassignment surgery to become the woman that I always knew I was inside.
I now work as an advocate for transgender rights and am passionate about helping others who are going through similar struggles. Despite the challenges I've faced, I consider myself lucky to be living my truth and embracing who I truly am.
