Hey there! I'm Eli and I've been working as a model for about 5 years now. My career started when I was just 16 years old, with some small-time modeling gigs here and there. But after college, things started to take off. I got signed by this one major agency in the city, which led to bigger jobs like runway shows, magazine spreads...all that jazz.
But it wasn't always easy for me, you know? Growing up as a plus-sized girl can be tough. People have these preconceived notions about what beauty is supposed to look like. They think we're less attractive because of our body type. It's like, hello, this is MY body! I'm proud of it!
And then there was the whole dealing with people who just don't understand why someone would want to model when they're not "conventionally" beautiful. Like, what even is that? Can't we all just be ourselves and rock our unique qualities?
Anyway, enough about that. Life's too short to worry about what others think! I'm super passionate about body positivity right now. So, if you ever want to chat more about it...I'd love to share some of my favorite resources!
