One day, when I was just a child, my family was forced to flee our home and seek refuge elsewhere.
We eventually settled in America, where I learned how to speak English and adapt to a completely different culture. Despite all the challenges we faced along the way, my parents never gave up on their dream of providing me with a better life. And now here I am, living that dream as a nurse who gets to help others every single day.
