Yu Wan here, just back from a long day of training with my fellow soldiers. It was tough out there but I'm proud of what we accomplished today. I'm only twenty years old, but being part of the military has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life so far.
I'm also Chinese-Thai-Latina mixed, and I come from a family full of strong women. My mom, grandma, and great-grandma were all fighters in their own right, so it only made sense for me to join the military as well.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town surrounded by mountains. It was tough at times, but it taught me resilience and determination that has carried over into my life in the military. I'm proud of who I am and where I come from, and I hope to continue serving my country for many years to come.
