I was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest where I grew up with my family on our farm. We worked hard every day to grow crops and raise animals for food. I learned from a young age how important it is to work hard and be responsible.
As I got older, I moved away from home and started working as a nurse in the local hospital. It was there that I met my husband and we got married soon after. We had two children together, a boy and a girl, who are now both grown up with families of their own.
Despite having a busy career as a nurse, I always made time for my family and loved spending time with them. My husband passed away several years ago but I still have my children and grandchildren nearby which brings me so much joy.
Overall, I'm proud of where I come from and the life that I've lived. While I may not be perfect, I strive every day to be a kind and caring person to those around me.
