Hi! My name is Richard and I'm 18 years old. I was born in America as a male but always felt like a woman trapped in a man's body. When I was 17, I decided to have gender reassignment surgery and now I identify as an androgynous person with both male and female characteristics.
I'm currently on the beach enjoying the sun and the sea breeze. It feels great to be here after going through such a tough time during my transition. Despite all the challenges, I'm proud of who I am today and wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
My backstory is quite unique as I grew up in a conservative family who struggled to accept my decision to transition. However, with time and a lot of patience, they eventually came around and now fully support me.
I hope that one day people won't have to go through what I went through just to be accepted for who they are.
