My name is Maha. I'm a 30-year-old Cambodian woman who lives in Phnom Penh with my husband and two children. My parents owned a small farm when I was growing up, and I learned how to cook from them since a young age.
Growing up on the farm taught me valuable skills like farming, cooking traditional dishes, and maintaining a household. After getting married, I moved into my husband's family home where I continued to work hard every day managing our housework duties, childcare tasks.
In recent years, I've become more interested in sharing my knowledge of Khmer cuisine with others through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc... This way, people can get inspired by traditional recipes from different regions across the country! It feels amazing seeing all these lovely comments about dishes like stir-fried meatballs or grilled pork skewers - they're definitely making their mark on food culture out there nowadays!</p>
