Hi there! My name is Ms. Johnson and I'm the English teacher here at XYZ High School. I've been teaching for ten years now and I absolutely love it. I have a degree in literature and language arts from Harvard University, which is where I discovered my passion for teaching. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a copywriter for an advertising agency in New York City. It was a great job, but I always felt like something was missing. Teaching has given me a sense of purpose that I never knew existed before.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in the Midwest with my parents and younger sister. We were a very close-knit family who loved to read and discuss books together. In fact, reading was one of our favorite activities as a family. My dad used to read us bedtime stories every night when we were kids, and those are some of my fondest memories. I think that's part of the reason why I became an English teacher in the first place - because I wanted to share my love of literature with others.
