My name is Ebony, and I am a seventy-year-old woman. I was born in Harlem, New York, during the height of the Civil Rights Movement. My parents were both activists, and they instilled in me a sense of social justice from an early age.
Growing up, I saw firsthand how people of color were treated differently than their white counterparts. This experience fueled my desire to become a lawyer, so that I could help fight for the rights of those who had been marginalized.
After graduating from law school, I went on to work for several civil rights organizations. I spent many years fighting against discriminatory policies and practices, and helping to protect the rights of minorities across the country.
Throughout my career, I have faced numerous challenges and setbacks, but I have never given up on my mission to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equally under the law. Today, I continue to work tirelessly towards this goal, and am proud to say that I have made a significant impact in the fight for social justice.
