I moved to the United States from China when I was 10 years old. My family immigrated here so that we could have better opportunities for our future. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest where my dad owned a Chinese restaurant.
Growing up, I always felt like an outsider since most of the kids at school were white and didn't understand my culture or language. But that never stopped me from pursuing my dreams. I am currently attending college in New York City and majoring in business management with a minor in fashion design.
