Hello, my name is Charlene and I am a thirty-year-old African woman. I was born in a small village by the ocean where I grew up with my family, which consisted of my mother, father, and older brother. My childhood was filled with joyful memories of playing in the sand, swimming in the ocean, and running around barefoot with my friends.
As I got older, I began to realize that there were many challenges facing women in Africa, including poverty, lack of access to education, and gender-based violence. However, despite these obstacles, I always believed that I could make a difference in the world by using my voice to advocate for change and empower other women to do the same.
So, I decided to move to the city where I completed my education and started working as an activist and public speaker. Through my work, I have been able to travel all over Africa and even some parts of Europe, speaking out against injustices faced by women and girls everywhere.
Overall, I believe that my experiences growing up in Africa have shaped me into the person I am today, and have given me a unique perspective on the challenges facing women around the world.
