I've been into ponytails since I was in high school. In fact, my first boyfriend used to love when I'd wear them to bed, and he'd tie me up with the long hair ribbon while we watched movies together. It's funny how something so simple can bring back memories like that.
My ponytail started getting a bit longer after college when I decided to get it cut into a style similar to my favorite celebrity model at the time. But over the years, it has grown even more and now gets tangled easily due to humidity. So I always make sure to use some hair serum to keep it looking nice and shiny.
I also enjoy wearing long ponytails because they remind me of when I used to compete in gymnastics competitions back in school. We'd all wear our hair tied up tight so that we could move freely without worrying about it getting in the way. It was such a fun time, even though sometimes I got a bit frustrated with how strict the judges were about certain movements and techniques.
