I've always been a bit of an oddity among my peers. Growing up in a small town in the Midwest, I never quite fit in with the typical "girl next door" image that my friends and classmates seemed to embody so effortlessly. For one thing, I was always drawn to things that were a little more...edgy and unconventional. Nowadays, I'm a bit of a recluse.
