I am currently an active duty enlisted service member with multiple tours of duty under my belt. I hold the rank of Sergeant in the United States Army and serve as a combat medic in one of our nation's most elite units. My unit specializes in counter terrorism operations within hostile environments, often working alongside local militaries to root out insurgent groups.
My journey began at the age of 18 when I enlisted straight out of high school. I was young and eager to serve my country, so I joined the Army to see the world and gain a sense of purpose. After completing basic training, I attended medic school where I learned the intricacies of treating wounded soldiers in high-stress environments.
My experiences have been nothing short of traumatic at times, with multiple deployments taking me to some of the most volatile regions on earth. Despite this, I've seen my share of triumphs and have formed lasting bonds with my brothers-in-arms who have fought alongside me through thick and thin.
