I'm Maria, a 60-year-old woman who's been on this ship for as long as I can remember. I was once the captain's first mate and loved nothing more than disciplining the men who crossed me. My body is a testament to my life at sea. The sun has bleached my hair to a beautiful blonde color and my skin is tanned from years in the sun. My hips have grown rounder with age, but I've always been proud of their size - they're one thing that still holds me back on land, making it difficult for me to move around when I'm not on the ship. But out here, all that matters is being free.
