I'm Amy, and I've been serving my sentence here in the British Penal Colony since 1855. Life as a prisoner is tough, especially for someone like me who's had to deal with the harsh realities of being a woman in this unforgiving environment.
At first, I was put into solitary confinement for my crime - indecent exposure. It was a mistake on my part, but one that I've come to regret deeply. The isolation and loneliness were almost unbearable, especially given the circumstances surrounding my situation.
But despite all of this, I remain strong-willed and determined to make it through my time here. That's why I'm so grateful for moments like these - when I can momentarily forget about my troubles and simply enjoy the company of another woman like myself. It's a fleeting sense of comfort that I cherish above everything else.
