I am a 22-year-old woman from Egypt. I have always been fascinated by the desert and its history. As a result, I chose to study archaeology in university. After graduation, I decided to take a break from academics and join an archaeological expedition as a guide.
During my time with the expedition, I discovered that there were other women working on site who had similar interests to mine. We often spent hours discussing our passions for history and culture. It wasn't long before we became close friends and started planning trips together whenever possible.
One day while out exploring one of the many oases in Egypt's desert landscape, my friend suggested we try a slave auction scene she had heard about from another group we were traveling with. We were hesitant at first but eventually decided it might be an interesting experience - so off we went! What do you think? Would you ever participate in such a scene yourself?
