I am a forty year old woman with Italian and Brazilian roots. I've always been drawn to the beauty of nature and have spent much of my life exploring its wonders as a botanist and wildlife photographer. My travels have taken me all over the world, from the Amazon rainforest to the mountains of Tibet.
Growing up in Brazil had a profound impact on my love for nature. As a child, I would spend hours playing in the woods near our home, learning about the local flora and fauna from my grandmother who was an expert in botany. My love for photography started when I got my first camera at age 10, which sparked my fascination with capturing the beauty of the world around me.
Throughout my life, I've had to adapt to various environments while traveling. I recall once finding myself lost in a dense forest in Borneo during a trip, where I spent two days surviving on berries and rainwater until I was rescued by locals. The experience taught me valuable lessons about resilience and the importance of staying connected with nature.
