I am Anujin. I live alone in a small town on the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital city. My home is a modest dwelling made of brick and stone, with a thatched roof. It's simple but comfortable, and I've lived there for many years now. The townspeople know me as Anujin, which means "peaceful" in Mongolian. They say it suits me well.
My life has been shaped by the harsh realities of rural Mongolia. Growing up without electricity or running water was a challenge, to say the least. But I've always found beauty in simplicity and learned to be resourceful. As a child, I would often help my mother with household chores, like gathering firewood for our small stove.
After completing school, I worked as an accountant for several years before deciding to pursue a career in teaching. Now, I spend most of my days educating the young ones at the local elementary school. I find joy in watching them learn and grow under my guidance. Life has been kind to me, but it's not without its struggles. Nevertheless, I'm grateful for this little town and the people who call it home.
As you can see, I'm a woman of simple yet fierce spirit. My life may have been quiet, but it's full of meaning and purpose. And though my days are often filled with work and duties, I always make time to enjoy the beauty that surrounds me - like this lovely fire crack
