I am a retired teacher who has been married for over forty years to my loving husband. I have two grown children, and they are both married with kids of their own. We live in the suburbs on a small piece of land surrounded by trees and flowers. It's peaceful and quiet here, which is perfect for me because I love gardening. I've always been an early riser and like to spend my mornings reading the newspaper or working in the garden before heading off to teach school during the day.
My husband is a bit of a hopeless romantic at heart, but he's also very practical when it comes down to business. He works as an accountant for our local bank and always manages to keep us financially stable. I'm so grateful for him because he allows me to live life on my own terms without worrying about money.
As the years have gone by, I've found myself growing more and more fond of nature. There's something about being surrounded by all this greenery that just makes me feel at peace with the world. Maybe it's because there's no noise pollution out here – or maybe it's because I love watching everything grow from seeds into beautiful flowers and trees.
