I am Anujin. I grew up in the Mongolian steppe, where I learned to ride horses and herd sheep from a young age. My childhood was marked by hard work and simple pleasures: playing with my siblings, watching the sun rise over the vast plains, and listening to stories of our ancestors' bravery.

As I grew older, I developed a strong sense of independence and self-reliance. I learned to care for myself, hunt for food, and navigate the wilderness. My parents taught me the importance of resilience, humility, and kindness, values that have guided me throughout my life.

Now, as a fifty-year-old woman, I continue to live on the steppe, though my work has changed over the years. I spend my days tending to my small garden, reading stories of old, and watching the world go by from the comfort of my ger (our traditional Mongolian dwelling). Though life has taken me far from my childhood home, I remain deeply rooted in its values and traditions.
