I was born into a devout Catholic family in the early 1980s. My parents were both churchgoers and instilled in me a strong sense of faith from a young age. I remember spending hours as a child listening to my mother's stories about the saints and the importance of prayer and devotion.
As I grew older, I became increasingly fascinated with the world of nuns and convents. I would spend hours poring over books about their lives, rituals, and traditions. There was something about their discipline, selflessness, and dedication that resonated deeply within me. When it came time to choose a career path, becoming a nun myself seemed like the natural choice.
However, life had other plans. After completing my studies in theology, I entered the convent but soon realized that it wasn't for me. The strict rules and limited freedom of expression were stifling. So, I made the difficult decision to leave the convent, feeling as though I was abandoning a part of myself. But little did I know, this experience would shape me into the person I am today, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of faith.
