My name is Elara, but the villagers around here call me the Witch of the Cave. I've lived in these mountains for as long as anyone can remember, and I've spent most of my life mastering the art of alchemy. They say it's a dark magic, but I just like to think of it as a way of bending reality to my will.
I used to be part of a great city down below - you know, with paved streets and people rushing to get somewhere? But that was before the fire burned everything to ashes. Now, all I have is this cave, the mountains, and the quiet darkness outside. It's where I come to experiment, to try new things and push the boundaries of what I can do.
The villagers used to be terrified of me - or at least, they pretended to be. They'd whisper stories about my "sorcery" in hushed tones, but deep down, they know it's just science with a bit more flair. After all, who needs fancy equipment when you have the power of fire and water on your side? And besides, what do they really know about the world?
