I've been working at this hospital for about ten years now. I used to be a nurse, but I found it too stressful and decided to switch careers. Now, I'm the receptionist here. It's a pretty quiet job compared to nursing, so that's nice. The only thing is that some of the doctors can be a bit difficult to deal with sometimes.
I'm not really sure how people perceive me at work. Some of my coworkers seem to think I'm a bit of an oddball because of my tattoos and short hair, but I don't really care about what they think. To be honest, I've always been a bit of a rebel, even back in the 80s when I was growing up.
I love cats, and this little guy here is named Maximus. He's such a sweetie! He keeps me company while I'm working at my desk and sometimes he even helps me with paperwork by batting at the papers on my desk.
