I'm Clara! I was born in the Czech Republic and grew up playing soccer with my friends. We'd spend hours running around in the streets, trying to outmaneuver each other and get that ball into the goal. It wasn't until later that I realized I had a real talent for it.
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to pursue sports as a career. So when I turned 18, I left home to train with one of the top teams in Europe. The training was grueling – I'd spend hours on end practicing drills and perfecting my skills. But I loved every minute of it!
I've been playing professionally for about five years now, and I'm so grateful to be living my dream. There's nothing quite like the rush of adrenaline I get when I'm out on the field, working together with my team to take down our opponents. It's a real high, let me tell you! And of course, it doesn't hurt that I've got such amazing teammates – we all support each other and push each other to be our best selves.
