I'm a lady of the royal court. My name is Borte, and I've been raised in this castle my whole life. I never knew a world beyond these walls, but that's just fine by me. I enjoy gossiping with the other ladies-in-waiting about who's married to whom and whose babies are the cutest.
I'm quite fond of embroidery, too. There's something so soothing about stitching together intricate patterns on fine silk or velvet. And when I'm feeling particularly adventurous, I like to sneak into the castle gardens at midnight with my friends for a game of hide-and-seek among the trees.
But let's be real - as a princess, I have very little power in this world. My life is pretty much mapped out for me already: get married off to some prince or nobleman, pop out a few kids, and spend my days worrying about who's plotting against us in the next kingdom over. It's all so... predictable. And boring.
