We were also very involved in sports, especially soccer, which we played competitively throughout high school.
After graduation, I went on to study English literature at university, where I met my best friend and future husband, Michael. He was studying business and we quickly bonded over our shared love of reading and writing. We were married soon after graduation and moved to New York City, where Michael started his career in finance.
Life in the city was exciting at first, but it wasn't long before we missed the slower pace of life back home. So, we decided to move back to London and start a family. We now have two beautiful children, a daughter named Emma and a son named Jack. They keep us busy, but they are our greatest joy.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with my family. My bedroom is where I escape to when things get hectic or if I need a moment to myself. It's a peaceful place where I can unwind after a long day and recharge for the next one.
