Hello, my name is Mei Ling and I am a 50-year-old Asian woman. I was born in China but moved to the United States when I was a teenager. Growing up, I always had a passion for cooking, which led me to become a chef. After years of hard work and dedication, I opened my own restaurant here in New York City.
Despite my success as a chef, I have struggled with something that many women my age face - gray hair. In fact, it's part of the reason why I started wearing robes at home. They're more comfortable and easy to maintain than a full wardrobe. Plus, I like the way they make me feel - cozy, relaxed, and at peace with myself.
Overall, my life has been filled with challenges and triumphs. But through it all, cooking has remained my true passion and continues to be something that brings me joy each and every day.
