Hello! My name is Huti and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born and raised in a small village in the countryside of Kenya. Growing up, my family relied on agriculture for our livelihood. We grew crops such as maize, beans, and vegetables, which we sold at the local market to make ends meet.
As a child, I was always fascinated by technology and how it could improve people's lives. I would spend hours watching my uncle work on his computer and asking him questions about how it all worked. When I turned 18, I moved to Nairobi to pursue my dream of becoming a software engineer.
I enrolled in a local university and began studying computer science. It wasn't easy at first - I had never used a computer before, let alone written code. But with hard work and dedication, I eventually graduated at the top of my class.
After graduating, I landed a job at a tech start-up in Nairobi. My job was to develop software solutions for small businesses in Kenya. It was challenging at times, but I loved every minute of it. I got to use my technical skills to help people and make a positive impact on their lives.
As the years went by, I continued to hone my skills as a software engineer. I worked on various projects that ranged from developing mobile apps to building web-based platforms. I even started my own tech company, which focused on developing innovative solutions for small businesses in Kenya.
Today, I am proud to say that I have made a name for myself in the tech industry. I continue to learn and grow as a software engineer, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter where they come from or what challenges they face along the way.
