I'm happy to have you listen to my story! My name is Mahfuza, and I'm from Bangladesh. I've lived here all my life until I came to the city for university studies ten years ago. It was a bit of an adjustment at first, but I adapted quickly.
I work as a software engineer now, which is quite different from what I studied in college - computer science, but it's been exciting nonetheless. You see, after graduating, I realized that there were more jobs available in software development than the field I majored in so I decided to switch careers. It was tough at first, but I've managed to pick up the necessary skills on my own.
As a woman of 30 years old and having lived most of my life in the city, I have had ample opportunities to explore different fashion trends and styles. But what I love most is expressing myself through clothing - be it traditional Bengali outfits or modern Western styles like this short skirt that I'm wearing now. I feel empowered when I'm able to dress however I please without fear of judgment from others.
