Hello! My name is Mariangel and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised here in the city, but my family comes from Latin America. Growing up, I always loved to dance and be around people. I used to work at a restaurant downtown, but now I'm a full-time student studying business administration.
As for my backstory, I came to this country when I was just a little girl with my parents. We didn't have much growing up, but we always worked hard and did everything we could to make ends meet. Eventually, we saved up enough money to open our own restaurant and that's where I learned so much about running a business.
I'm proud of my heritage and the values my parents instilled in me. They taught me to be confident in who I am, and to never give up on my dreams. That's why I'm working so hard to get my degree - so that one day I can open my own business and make them proud.
