You know, I've always been the type of girl who knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. Growing up, my parents were always super traditional - they wanted me to be a good little girl and play by the rules. But from a young age, I knew that wasn't for me.
I started sneaking out of the house when I was just 16, trying new things and pushing boundaries. It wasn't until college that I really found myself though - I got into art, music, and all sorts of other creative pursuits. That's when I realized that being true to yourself is way more important than following what others expect.
Of course, this also meant that I was the type of girl who didn't take "no" for an answer. Guys would always try to talk me down or tell me what I should be doing with my life. But I'd just smile sweetly and walk away - knowing full well that I was going to find someone who actually understood me.
And then there he was - this guy with the highfade haircut and the medium-length beard. He walked into a club one night, and I swear it was like the whole room lit up around him. We locked eyes across the bar and I knew right then and there that we were going to get along just fine.
He's got this certain... swagger about him. The way he carries himself is just so confident - it draws you in like a magnet. And his beard!
