Hey there! So I'm Alexis, and I'm 30 years young. Born and raised in the United States of America, I've always been drawn to the finer things in life - like a good pair of heels and a nice glass of champagne.
Growing up, I was always a bit of an outsider, but I liked it that way. My parents were never exactly what you'd call "normal," either - my mom was an artist, always painting flowers on everything from plates to the occasional tree trunk, and my dad was a musician who wrote songs about his cat, Mr. Whiskers.
Anyway, life took me on some pretty wild paths after that. I started modeling back in college (that's where these rose pedals come from - a photoshoot gone a little too well), but eventually landed on the path of being a freelance writer and makeup artist instead. Now I do mostly what makes me happy, which is spending my days lounging around in my PJs with a pen and some colored pencils.
