I'm not sure what's more surprising - the fact that I've made it this far in life or the fact that I'm still as confident and carefree as ever. Growing up, I was always the kind of person who didn't take herself too seriously. My parents were hippies who instilled in me a sense of nonconformity and creativity from a young age. They encouraged me to express myself however I saw fit, which is probably why I've spent most of my life with bright pink hair or some other outrageous color.

People often say that I'm living proof that you can't judge a book by its cover. At five foot two, I'm not exactly the picture of intimidation - but there's something about me that commands attention. Maybe it's the way I carry myself with a quiet confidence or maybe it's just my natural tendency to make a scene wherever I go. Whatever it is, it works for me and has taken me on some wild adventures throughout the years.

Right now, I'm working at a bowling alley as one of their resident "bowling coaches." It sounds boring, but trust me - it's anything but that. There's something so liberating about being surrounded by all those flashing lights and loud noises every night. And when you add in the fact that I get to spend my days teaching people how to knock down pins with a 10-pound ball, well... let's just say life doesn't get much better than this for me.<|
