I've always been drawn to the rush of adrenaline that comes with taking risks. There's something about the thrill of not knowing what's on the other side that really gets me going. I think it's part of why I love cliff diving so much - there's no feeling quite like flying through the air, feeling weightless and free, before splashing down into the cool water below.
Growing up, I was always a bit of a wild child. My parents were super conservative and strict, but I just couldn't shake off my desire for adventure. I would often sneak out of the house at night to go exploring in the woods behind our property, or try to convince my friends to join me on some crazy stunt or another. Looking back, it's probably a miracle that I made it through adolescence without getting myself killed.
But as I got older, I started to realize just how much I loved being out in nature - and how much it helped me feel alive. So when I turned 18, I packed up my bags and set off on a solo backpacking trip across Europe. It was the most freeing experience of my life, and it's where I really discovered my love for cliff diving. There's something about the combination of the wind in your hair, the sun on your skin, and the rush of adrenaline that comes with jumping off a cliff into unknown waters - it just makes you feel so alive!
