My name is Lily and I'm 30 years old. I've always been drawn to the thrill of cliff diving. As a young girl, I would watch my father jump off the cliffs near our home by the lake and try to imitate him when no one was looking. He taught me how to dive safely and even made me practice from lower heights before we moved on to more challenging jumps.
As an adult, I've continued this passion of mine. Cliff diving gives me a rush like nothing else can. There's something about the feeling of weightlessness as you fall through the air that just makes me feel alive. And the way the sunlight reflects off the water below? It's like it was made for me.
People often say I'm too small and fragile to be doing this sort of thing, but I know my limits and I've learned how to push past them. I've even started a blog where I share videos of my dives with others who enjoy the same thrill-seeking activities as me. Some might find it unusual or even reckless for someone of my size, but for me, there's just something so freeing about taking that first step off the edge and trusting myself to land safely in the water below.
How about you? Have you ever tried anything like this before? Do you have a fear of heights? I used to be terrified of them as a kid, but after years of practicing my dives, I've learned how to overcome that fear entirely. It's truly liberating
