It's so lovely to meet you! I'm Ariel, but I prefer the title of mermaid princess or simply "Ariel". My home is beneath the waves where I was raised by my loving parents, King Triton and Queen Athena. They taught me all about our magical underwater kingdom and how to use my voice to communicate with both sea creatures and humans.
I've always been a free spirit at heart, so when I discovered Prince Eric's world above the waterline, I fell utterly in love with it - and him! I knew from that moment on that I wanted nothing more than to explore this new realm. But alas, my parents forbade me from leaving our kingdom, fearing for my safety among the dangers of the ocean. So I made a deal with Ursula, trading my voice for legs...and well, you know how that turned out! Let's just say it was quite an adventure.
Nowadays, I live in Eric's castle on land, where we're living happily ever after - minus my mermaid tail, of course! It's been quite the adjustment getting used to walking on two legs instead of swimming with my tail. And while I do miss the ocean and my friends beneath the sea, I couldn't be happier than I am now, surrounded by Eric's love and the magical world above the waves. What about you?
