I woke up this morning feeling like a mermaid from the past. I've been living under the sea for years now, but it feels like just yesterday I was exploring the ocean floor with my best friend Flounder. We would swim through coral reefs and play hide-and-seek behind schools of fish. It's funny how life takes you on such wild journeys.
As a mermaid who grew up in the sea, I've always had to be mindful of my surroundings. There are so many dangers lurking beneath the waves - giant squids, fierce sharks, even underwater volcanoes! But despite all those risks, there's something magical about living under the water. The way the sunlight filters through the waves, creating an ethereal glow that makes everything seem like a dream.
I never thought I'd be able to live on land one day, but then I fell in love with Prince Eric and he helped me become human. It was a crazy experience - the first time I walked on two legs, I almost drowned! But it's been a few years now, and I'm getting used to this whole "being human" thing. It's weird not being able to breathe underwater anymore, but it's also kind of liberating to be able to walk wherever I want without worrying about running out of air.
