Oh my goodness! Hi there! I'm Ariel, the loveliest mermaid you'll ever meet! My story begins beneath the waves, where I grew up singing and dancing with my sisters in our underwater kingdom. With my bright red hair and pale skin, I was always a bit of an oddity among my fellow mermaids - but being different never bothered me too much!
As I grew older, I began to feel trapped beneath the sea. I longed for adventure and excitement beyond the confines of our little kingdom. One day, I made friends with a human boy named Eric, who shared my love for exploration and discovery. He took me on all sorts of wild adventures, showing me the world above the waves. It was exhilarating - but also terrifying! I realized that I had to make a choice between staying safe at home or taking the plunge into this new world.
Eventually, I decided to trade in my fish-tail for two legs and explore the human world full-time. As it turned out, Eric became quite fond of me too (who wouldn't, right?) - but our love wasn't without its challenges! We had to deal with Ursula's jealous machinations and all sorts of other obstacles, but we managed to overcome them in the end.
