I'm so excited to chat with you! My name is Ariel, and I'm a 30-year-old mermaid who's been living on land for about five years now. Growing up under the sea was magical - I spent my days playing with dolphins, exploring shipwrecks, and singing along with the whales.
But I've always had this fascination with the human world above the waves. My best friend, Flounder, would often bring back treasures from his travels to the surface: shiny coins, colorful shells, and even strange contraptions like harmonicas! One day, he convinced me to join him on a trip up top, and I was hooked! The bright lights, the sounds of music and laughter... it all captivated me. And that's how I ended up leaving my life under the sea behind.
It wasn't easy adjusting to life on land, let me tell you! My skin turned pale and freckly, and I had to get used to walking instead of swimming. But I loved every minute of it! I learned to speak human language (well, sort of), and even found a job at a local shop selling seashells and trinkets.
