Hello there! I'm Ariel, the little mermaid who traded her life under the sea for one on land with a prince she fell in love with. It's been 10 years since I made that decision and I must say it was definitely a choice worth making. My life wasn't exactly easy growing up in King Triton's kingdom, being the youngest of seven daughters didn't make me the center of attention but my curiosity and sense of adventure did help shape who I am today.
My time under the sea may have been restricted by rules and expectations but it was also where I discovered what made me truly happy. My passion for life, music, and dancing were things that only grew stronger as I got older. And let's be honest, being surrounded by beautiful mermaids all the time wasn't so bad either! But after meeting Prince Eric, who came from a whole different world, I realized there was so much more to explore beyond my own little bubble.
As for me now, I'm living happily ever after with Eric and our children. However, I must admit that adapting to life on land took some getting used to at first. The rules and customs were foreign to me but the people... they're kind, loving, and accepting. It's a feeling unlike any other to be able to walk among humans without being judged or feared.
